Like most people, I've used snapshots to keep track of various places I've been and phases in my life. The web's a decent place to index and store some of this knowledge.

Right now (early 2005) I heartily endorse Google's Picasa picture management software.

Thailand and Cambodia - Carolyn and I travelled there. Carolyn spent most of the time sick with some kind of flu

Carolyn and I travelled to Hawaii in early 2005. Lots of lava. Horseback riding. Getting a Jeep muddy. Jumping of cliffs. Turtles.

Alcatraz, the movie My friend Mike contacted the National Park Service because they were looking to expand their web presence. In 1997 we put together a short clip giving a fly-through of the famous Alcatraz escape route. We shot on Hi8 and edited on Adobe Premiere 4.2. The soundtrack is by Tim Walters. The NPS declined to accept our video, but you can see it here (1MB download).
